Bamboo is the top choice because it’s naturally cooling and moisture-wicking. Egyptian cotton also stays breathable. Flannel is warmer and better suited to winter.

Flannel sheets are designed to trap heat, making them the warmest option. Egyptian cotton and bamboo are lighter and more breathable.

Look for 300–600 thread count in Egyptian cotton for softness and durability. Bamboo sheets focus more on weave than thread count, while flannel is measured in GSM (grams per square meter) instead of threads.

Egyptian cotton: Wash in cool or warm water, tumble dry low. Avoid bleach.
Bamboo: Wash in cold water, gentle cycle, air-dry or tumble dry low.
Flannel: Wash in warm water, tumble dry medium. Wash separately to prevent lint transfer.
